How do I care for my counter top?

Will you come to the job site and issue an estimate?
No, but submit a rough sketch we will provide an estimate. See the Estimates/Orders page for detailed information.
Do you install laminate counters?
No. However, we can recommend several qualified installers in the region.
Do you install granite and quartz counters?
Yes.
Do you install solid surface counters?
Yes, but our services are limited in scope. Contact a J&W representative
for details.
Do you sell cabinets?
No.
What are your hours?
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash and Check.
Is a down payment required?
Only for granite, quartz and solid surface jobs. Here, 50% down
is required.
Can I place a hot pan on my counter top?
No. It is not recommended that you place hot pans on any counter
top. Laminate can burn or reactivate the glue causing laminate
to come loose.
Granite,
quartz and solid surface products can scorch and/or crack.
Rule of thumb: If it is
too hot to touch with your hand, it’s too hot to
put directly on a counter top. |
